As a woman, have you ever considered working in the construction industry? If not, you might be missing out.
There’s a fantastic range of interesting and rewarding roles on offer. It’s not just about working on site; your role could be in planning, design, project management, surveying, sales and marketing, or many other exciting areas.
Lovell has long pioneered encouraging more women into the industry and, as part of our ongoing awareness programme, Lovell London is inviting women to a free careers advice seminar in Enfield on Thursday 24th May from 11am – 1pm.
During the two-hour event, you’ll hear from industry experts, visit the construction site at The Electric Quarter – Lovell’s newest development in Enfield – and hear first-hand from women who are enjoying successful careers with Lovell.
Sophia Bruce, regional training adviser at Lovell, comments: “Women are vastly under-represented in construction and make up less than 13 per cent of the workforce. Lovell is on a mission to change this and we’re very proud that already more than 25 per cent of our employees are women. We want to attract more talented and skilled people into the industry and making women aware of the opportunities open to them is an important part of our strategy.”
Spaces at the seminar are limited; to guarantee your free place please register now at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 020 8731 3805.
