Our Cardiff region has achieved the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Award for its safety performance.
The accolade recognises our safety record and excellent health and safety management systems at its construction sites and offices across South Wales and the South West.
Open to all types of businesses and organisations across the UK, the annual awards scheme is the longest-running programme of its kind. The awards are run by safety charity RoSPA, which is celebrating its centenary this year.

Achieving the standard required is no mean feat.”

Schemes under construction in South Wales include the third and fourth phases of Pobl Group’s £30 million Loftus Garden Village development, which is creating 250 new homes close to the centre of Newport. In Cardiff, work is progressing well on The Mill, Canton, which is creating a brand-new 800-home urban village in Canton, west of Cardiff city centre, transforming the former Arjo Wiggins paper mill site with stylish apartments and homes. The development will feature 358 homes for open market sale by Lovell and 442 homes for rent which will be managed by Cadwyn Housing Association for the Tirion Group. The scheme is going ahead with the support of the Welsh Government and financial backing from the Principality Building Society, and is being developed by the Tirion Group in partnership with Lovell.
