Lovell is proud to have sponsored the opening night fireworks at the 34th annual Festival Too in King’s Lynn recently.
Festival Too is a free, un-ticketed event held in King’s Lynn over three weekends each summer. It relies on donations and sponsorships from local businesses to provide free entertainment for local communities.
The event, hosted by DJ Mark Purdy, took place in King Staithe Square. It was home to food stalls, rides and a spectacular fireworks display. There were also performances from True Gold – The Spandau Ballet Experience.
The fireworks, which launched from the West Lynn side of the River Great Ouse, capped off the opening of the event.
Simon Medler, regional managing director at Lovell said: “Our focus at Lovell is very much on supporting community organisations and groups wherever we can. We were therefore delighted to get involved with Festival Too and sponsor the fireworks display.
“The display was spectacular and we’re really proud to be one of the businesses that has helped the growth of Festival Too over recent years.”
Mark Stanford, chair at Festival Too said: “Festival Too has traditionally started the proceedings with live music on the King Staithe Square and a firework display over the River Great Ouse above the historic part of King’s Lynn.
“The festival is unique because it is free to attend for the public and attracts thousands over the three weekends it is on. As the years have gone on, costs have risen and we are much more reliant on business sponsorship to help pay for the event.
“We have had a long-term relationship with Lovell and the company has sponsored the fireworks for many years. We are very grateful for Lovell's contribution and would struggle to bring the display to King's Lynn without their generous sponsorship.”
Lovell is also a proud sponsor and judge of the Investing in Future Growth category at this year’s Norfolk Business Awards, where it will recognise and reward like-minded organisations and promote the outstanding investments made by Norfolk businesses.
Lovell’s East Anglia portfolio includes developments in Holt, Gislingham, Mendlesham and King’s Lynn, with a range of homes for sale at each.
