Lovell’s Cardiff tea party serves up £205 for Breast Cancer Care

An afternoon tea hosted and organised by Lovell raised £205 for cancer support charity Breast Cancer Care.

Staff from our Cardiff office joined colleagues from our sister firm, construction specialists Morgan Sindall, and engineering and construction company Costain to tuck into a range of delicious home-baked cakes – including scones, cupcakes and sponges – and enjoy a cup of tea. All three companies are based at the Greenmeadow Springs business park in Tongwynlais.

Afternoon tea hosted by Lovell raised £205 for cancer support charity, Breast Cancer Care.

“The tea party was a great chance to get together, enjoy some lovely food and raise money for Breast Cancer Care,” said our marketing coordinator Kelly Jones.

“We were all keen to get involved with lots of staff members baking especially for the event and everyone enthusiastic about supporting the charity’s work.”

The money raised will help Breast Cancer Care provide care, information and support to people affected by breast cancer and campaign for improved standards of care. Breast Cancer Care is the only UK-wide charity providing care, information and support to people affected by breast cancer, including nurses to speak to, specialist information and volunteers who can offer support from day one.
