Lovell recently joined other local businesses to support Enfield Council’s Jobs, Training and Apprenticeship Fair and highlight its exciting training schemes for young people
The fair, which was the twentieth of these events to be hosted by the Council, was very well supported and attracted a record number of almost 640 visitors.
Sophia Bruce, regional training advisor at Lovell, commented: “We are always keen to get involved in local activities in areas where Lovell builds and to spread the word about the great job opportunities in construction. There was plenty of interest in our apprenticeship and management trainee programmes, who were surprised to hear about the wide variety of careers they could pursue.”
Lovell is creating a thriving new neighbourhood, The Electric Quarter, in Ponders End as part of Enfield’s ongoing regeneration. The development offers a mix of 248 apartments and houses and, when complete in 2019, will provide new community facilities including shops, a library and a nursery. More homes will be coming soon.
