The partnership housing specialist, part of the £3.1bn Morgan Sindall Group, is looking to employ over 20 new staff in the next 12 months as part of a major recruitment drive.
The company decision to invest in more staff is off the back of its pipeline of future developments. The new staff will fill roles ranging from trainee through to senior management in operations, commercial and support staff departments.
Andrew Johnston, Regional Managing Director at Lovell Soutern, said: “The continued growth of our business means we will be building and delivering much-needed homes across the region, as well as the same time providing high-quality jobs to local people and boosting the regional economy further."
“Lovell Southern has enjoyed rapid growth in the last year and with a buoyant and growing pipeline of work in place. We have a plan to bolster our ambitious and committed team in order to further drive the business forward.
"In order to realise the opportunities of growth ahead, we are carefully recruiting a number of people for new roles. We have focused on bringing in staff who possess attributes that suit our business, its core values and culture.”
Andrew added: “The company’s strong financial position and support from Morgan Sindall Group will enable us to work with our partners and increase the much-needed supply of homes in the area.
"We are firm in our belief that building a successful career is defined by a mix of the right qualifications and experience, but also the right attitude and a demonstrable enthusiasm to contribute meaningfully to the vision of the whole team.
Lovell Southern has already appointed five new staff this year as the regional office strengthens its team ahead of a busy period. Jonathan Shelley, Abraham Sadek, Francesca Goulding and Andy Hardy and Russ Salmons have all joined the business.
Based from the company’s office in Exeter, Jonathan has been appointed Operations Manager, with Andy Hardy as senior site manager. Francesca has joined the commercial team along with Bid Manager Russ. Abraham has been brought in to support the development and preconstruction department.
With Lovell’s extensive expertise in housing led regeneration through a partnership ethos, the aim is to build a sustainable business that will employ around 100 people and thousands through the local supply chain, whilst increasing housing capacity in the region.
