At Lovell, we employ local people wherever we can, bringing real economic benefits to the communities where we work.
We support on-the-job training across our business to boost local knowledge and skills, and help people develop their careers. We also provide training courses and apprenticeship schemes through the Lovell Craft Academy and our dedicated Management Development Academy.
We work with local schools and colleges to raise awareness of the range of careers on offer in the construction industry and give advice about mentoring and Lovell work placements.
Lovell supports a wide range of diversity initiatives, including promoting gender, ethnic, age and cultural diversity in the workplace.
We’re actively involved with the National Association of Women in Construction and a member of Women into Construction. We work with disadvantaged children in a number of ways, including the Construction Youth Trust, and take on selected ex-offenders as apprentices.
