Work is continuing on our long-term £42m project with Bristol City Council, which will see us replace kitchens and carry out electrical rewiring work at around 15,000 council properties across the city to bring them up to current standards.
Each year, our team will install at least 1,250 new kitchens and fully rewire at least 900 occupied properties. Rewiring empty properties, although not part of our original contract, is also being undertaken where required as part of the programme.
A truly proactive resident contact programme was in place, highlighted by various initiatives, including one member of staff learning sign language to improve communications. The cleanliness, presentation and protection of each work area was exemplary… An exceedingly well-managed project with real dedication to delivering the best considerate performance.”
The tradesmen were all first class, carrying out their work in a professional, friendly and courteous way and cleaning up behind themselves each day. Equally as important, our resident liaison officer visited each day to keep us informed of what was happening on that day. They would happily answer any queries we had and were very reassuring.
