Sister companies of leading construction and regeneration group, Morgan Sindall Group plc, have been appointed as one of the main partners on the £47bn OJEU-compliant national framework for developer-led schemes, brought forward by procurement provider, Pagabo.

Two of the Group’s subsidiary divisions - national urban regenerator Muse Developments and partnership housing provider, Lovell - will be able to be directly appointed or bid through competitions for contracts to deliver mixed-use and commercial schemes, housing, as well as community amenities such as schools and care facilities.

John Morgan, chief executive at Morgan Sindall Group plc, said: “We are delighted that we have been selected to this major framework agreement that will drive growth, opportunities and social prosperity into communities across the country.

“Our national, decentralised structure lends itself well to the Pagabo model as it enables us to be agile and respond to local needs efficiently. We are very much looking forward to continuing to work with Pagabo and their partners on the framework over the next five years.”

To be successful, Morgan Sindall had to demonstrate a strong balance sheet, a track record in delivering successful regeneration schemes and a commitment to open collaboration, along with echoing Pagabo’s passion for delivering value for money and tangible social value, as well as supporting SMEs and using innovative technology.

Pagabo frameworks look to provide simplicity, flexibility, support and stability, supporting the public sector to achieve value for money and added social value for local communities.
