New green business award backed by Lovell

While we have sponsored previous Norfolk Business Awards, when this new category was announced for 2021 it was the obvious choice for us to get behind. Will Wright, land and partnership manager at Lovell Partnerships, and co-judge for the award, explains: “As a business we take sustainability and being green very seriously, for example we aim to be completely net carbon neutral by 2030, so this award is close to our heart. Being environmentally responsible is high on many customers’ agendas - they want to support and work with businesses that reflect their values - so now, more than ever, businesses have to step up and commit to a green and sustainable future.”

The new award will recognise a business which demonstrates a commitment to reducing its carbon footprint through innovative and sustainable practices, and one that is always learning and sharing its experiences with others. Will surmises: “The Norfolk Business Awards are highly respected and this award will champion a business for its green credentials and boost its reputation for being environmentally friendly. Most of all, it will showcase a business with a conscience and a heart.”
