In an awards ceremony hosted on Thursday 29 September, Lovell sponsored the Environmental and Sustainability Award which was presented to Precision Marketing.

The Suffolk Business Awards exist to recognise the best companies, strategies and people that make up Suffolk’s business community.

Choosing to sponsor the Environmental and Sustainability Award, Lovell wanted to recognise a business that has been able to demonstrate a commitment to reducing their carbon footprint through innovative and sustainable practices, that is always learning and sharing their experiences of this process with others to push the move to a greener economy.

Deservedly winning this award was Precision Marketing, joined as finalists by Beckett Investment Management Group, Denny Bros, and KOcycle.

Precision Marketing are a Suffolk-based marketing agency in the healthcare sector, owned by Founder Matthew Caldwell-Nichols. The team of more than 80 staff operate from its solar-powered office in Bury St Edmunds.

Sasha Bainbridge, Regional Partnerships Director commented:

“We’re thrilled to have had the opportunity to sponsor this award, and it was an honour to present it to Precision Marketing. Precision is a family-run business with a caring, sustainable ethosthat does the right thing for its clients, its people, and its planet. Here at Lovell, we share a lot of similar values, so we are delighted to celebrate their win with them. Congratulations to all of the other finalists too, who all showed brilliant commitment to the environment and sustainably. It was certainly a very tough category!”

The Suffolk Business Awards 2022 Charity of the Year was named as Suffolk Mind, who have been running workplace wellbeing training for companies across the country, helping them create a healthy work culture and to speak more comfortably about what we all need to stay mentally well.
