Leading partnerships developer Lovell has appointed Mark Harris as new land manager for its South Wales division as part of the companies bold plans for growth across the region.

Mark has over 30 years’ experience in the land and development sector, including work for housing associations, PLC housebuilders and for his own private consultancy business.

Mark’s role is centered around finding land opportunities with the potential to accommodate future housing developments. He hopes to overcome the challenge of finding opportunities in a competitive market by utilising the excellent relationships with land owners and agents he has fostered over the course of his career.

Mark, who lives in Cwmbran, Torfaen said: “Each day is very different, with every site being acquired having different challenges.

“The best part of the role is sourcing land for a number of different uses, whether that be for open market sale, mixed-tenure partnership or delivering affordable homes. The team I’m working with, who are all dedicated and experienced professionals, have been very welcoming.”
