Anthony joins Lovell from housebuilder Keepmoat, where he also held the position of finance director for five years. Prior to that, Anthony worked in various industries across the North West, including insurance, utilities, telecoms and commercial property giving him a broad range of experiences to draw upon.
Anthony said: “I particularly admire the partnership and regeneration aspect of house building and believe that Lovell is well placed with its reputation in the North to deliver some exciting schemes.
“My keystone philosophy is that finance is a support function for the rest of the business. I am always looking for new ways to shed light onto the key business activities and to help ensure best practice is highlighted and shared.
“In my new role, I will be making it my priority to embed myself among the regions and meet the people, understand the various businesses and to then progress in the areas where I can add the most value.”
David Ward, Lovell managing director for the North, said: “Anthony is a very welcome addition to the Lovell team. His strategic financial, analytical and management skills will drive improvements in the business as we look to increase our activity in the area.”
Lovell continues to work on key developments in the North, in both city centre and more rural locations, including:
The Gateway in Manchester; the penultimate development of a ten-year regeneration in Miles Platting by Lovell, as well as Saxon Square - the final scheme in this landmark, multi-phase development.
Saddlers Grange in Howden is another prominent scheme located on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds – the gateway to exploring some of Britain’s most stunning countryside.
Coming soon to the North East there is also Laurel Gate in Whitburn, Sunderland and a development on the old Northgate Hospital, Morpeth.
Also The Crossings at Bridgewater Village, South Queensferry, ten miles from Edinburgh on the shores of the Firth of Forth. Coming soon to Edinburgh is also Oakwood Edge in Dalkeith and across in Glasgow, we have Glow Garren, another prominent scheme in Hamilton built on the old Phillips factory site.
