Leading developer Lovell Partnerships has appointed four new starters to bolster its recently launched North East region.

Catherine Lucas, Anna Taylor, Erollynn Cummings and Connor Douglass have joined the team as quantity surveyor, assistant quantity surveyor, commercial administrator, and trainee quantity surveyor, respectively.

Catherine will be responsible for estimating and controlling construction projects for Lovell Partnerships, as well as monitoring project finances and contractual relationships at the new region, which covers Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, County Durham, Tees Valley and into North Yorkshire.

She said: “I’m delighted to have joined the business at an exciting time following its recent expansion into the North East.

“Lovell Partnerships is a fantastic business that boasts an impressive 50 years of expertise in the property sector and it’s exciting to be a part of that. I'm looking forward to supporting Lovell's ambitious growth plans over the coming year and to cementing it as the go-to for high quality homes, great partnerships and flourishing neighbourhoods in the North East.”

The four new appointments follow a string of successes for the new region after the recent appointment of Phil Jones as new head of land and partnerships for the North East, and breaking ground at the region’s first development, Northshore, located in Stockton-on-Tees. The site boasts 113 plots and is a brownfield regeneration scheme, set to deliver much-needed affordable homes to the area.

Most recently, work has begun at Sandcastles, a development in Middle Deepdale, Scarborough launched by Lovell Later Living with Lovell Partnerships. The development will bring 81 dwellings to the area for the over 55s and once completed, will overlook the picturesque Deepdale Nature Reserve.

Paul Devaney, area director of Lovell Partnerships in the North East region, said: “We’ve had a great first year since we launched in the North East. Highlights include the recent hire of Phil Jones, our new head of land and partnerships, as well as breaking ground in Northshore, and beginning works at Sandcastles. It’s certainly exciting to see the region’s continued growth.

“We welcome Catherine, Anna, Erollynn and Connor to the team.  They each bring with them different experiences and strengths which will put us in great stead for the coming year, with a number of exciting announcements still to come over the coming months.”
