Construction opportunities showcased at Norfolk and Suffolk Skills and Careers Festival

Held at the Norfolk Showground, the festival was aimed at 14 – 24-year-olds to help inspire them and their future careers by discovering a huge range of opportunities.

On the Lovell stand we joined forces with Morgan Sindall and had a construction village with fun competitions for visitors including who could build a brick corner in the fastest time and add tiles to a roof the quickest. We also got some willing volunteers to build a small wooden house!

The event provided practical help such as advice on CV writing, interview techniques and job applications. Additionally, it had a wide range of guest speakers and activities, with over 60 businesses attending to motivate and inspire visitors.
