The London team has raised an amazing £15,000 for Herts Young Homeless at its first charity golf day.

The event was held at The Shire, in Barnet where 24 teams competed. Golfers included teams from the supply chain as well as Lovell employees.

Participating companies included: Wise Scaffolding, T & T Roofing, MV Electrical Engineers, Fairway Construction, Dearnside Fabrication, UK Power Solutions, Stanmore, Panthera Group, DP Lawless, Oak Specialist Services, Edenway Contractors, GD Contracts, Wheeler Electrical, Electrical & Mechanical Services, Connect Scaffolding, O'Keefe, London Tower Cranes, Tilbury Contracts, Oliver Connell & Son Ltd, Logistical Building Services, Atec Mechanical, Acute Hoarding & Fencing and We Recruit.

The day concluded with an auction,  with prizes also provided by our superb supply chain.  

Our chosen charity, Herts Young Homeless, has been working to prevent homelessness by providing education, advice and support to young people in Hertfordshire since 1998.

Mick Laws, regional managing director at Lovell, said “We are thrilled to have raised £15,000 for this great charity. The work carried out changes lives for many young people and we’re delighted to have supported them. I’d like to thank everyone who took part in this thoroughly enjoyable event, especially our supply chain partners who donated fantastic prizes to the charity auction. I’d also like to especially thank our main sponsor Wise Scaffolding.”

The funds raised will enable us to continue to support young people at risk of homelessness in our community.”
