On Thursday 28th September 2023, we attended the Suffolk Business Awards and Sunrise Studios were crowned the winner of the Positive Impact Award we sponsored.

Sunrise Studios, located in Lowestoft, is a community production company run by and for young people. It offers a wide range of media production services to local organisations, encompassing visual and audio content creation, photography, event management, media campaigns and website development.

 

Sunrise Studios reinvests all profits generated from their work to create opportunities in media production, music, and the arts for individuals under the age of 25. In addition to their regular work, they organised Lowestoft's inaugural Film Festival in 2022 and recently hosted music therapy sessions aimed at boosting participants' self-esteem through the power of music.

The judges, including our partnerships director, Sasha Bainbridge, were blown away by the incredible achievements that Joshua, who established the company in 2021 when he was 18, has made.

The other finalists in the category were Home Instead, Inspire, and St. Elizabeth's Hospice, who all make exceptional contributions to our community.

Sasha is also busy judging the Norfolk Business Awards, with the ceremony and winners this November.
