We are once again thrilled, to be supporting the Breast of Friends Charity Ball 2024, which this year takes place on Saturday 7 September 2024 at Briarfields Hotel in Titchwell.

This year we have donated £550 . The donation will allow 10 NHS staff members to attend the event, with all costs covered, as a thank you & to show our appreciation for all they do every day to support those who are affected by cancer.

All funds raised from the evening will go towards the Breast Care Unit Development Fund for providing equipment for the vital early detection and treatment of breast cancer for both men and women in West Norfolk. The funding will also support the ongoing treatment provided by the chemotherapy unit, providing resources to make people’s treatment less traumatic whilst undergoing chemotherapy. Last year, a total of £19,000 was raised which was split equally between both the Breast Care and Chemotherapy Units.

The Breast of Friends Charity Ball Committee is a group of fundraisers, some of whom have been through the breast cancer journey and have been fundraising to give something back to the wonderful Breast Care Unit and the Chemotherapy Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn.

Regional managing director, Simon Medler, said: “The Breast of Friends Charity Ball will raise funds that are crucial for those who work on the units to continue doing the inspirational work they do every day, and also say thank you to the hard-working NHS teams who support people affected by cancer. It’s an honour for us to be able to support this event for a second year.”

Lovell are proud to be one of the sponsors of this special event, and hope those who attend have a wonderful evening and the Ball is successful in raising funds for the Breast Care Unit and the Chemotherapy Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn.
