Lovell tees up to sponsor charity golf event in Hunstanton for the RNLI

The RNLI (www.rnli.org) have 238 lifeboat stations creating a ring of safety around the coasts of the UK and Ireland. There are over 5,700 volunteer lifeboat crew members working 24 hours a day, seven days a week to save lives at sea.  Over 144,000 lives have been saved.  

2024 marks the 200^th anniversary year of lifesaving for this incredible service.   

Sasha Bainbridge, partnerships director at Lovell, comments: “We know the exceptional work that the RNLI and its volunteers do and what a significant personal commitment it takes to be a part of the service. Hunstanton is fortunate enough to house one of only four inshore search and rescue hovercrafts, and by being a sponsor for this event we can commit to giving something back. We are happy to play our part by helping to support the charity golf event which will bring the local community together.”

Participants will club together to have some fun playing at Hunstanton Golf Club, while raising critical funds for the RNLI. Its crew's lifesaving work is funded entirely by donations and legacies. Last year the event raised £31,000.
