The LABC (Local Authority Building Control) Building Excellence Awards recognise and celebrate outstanding building projects in a range of categories.

The Nar Valley Park project was entered into the ‘High Volume’ category, which is for new developments of more than 30 homes.

It earned the East of England award for its outstanding quality, innovation, adherence to building regulations, and contribution to alleviating the local housing crisis.

The project was particularly noted for its innovative i-House approach, which facilitates faster home delivery through off-site manufacturing for certain components, while employing methods that minimize disruption to nearby residents during construction.

This development is part of a Major Housing Project aimed at providing approximately 1,000 essential new homes in the borough. The winners of the national awards will be revealed at a ceremony on January 24.
