Sustainability

Lovell has recently integrated a new product into its operations to address the longstanding issues with the durability of existing materials and to enhance sustainability. The product, supplied by our supply chain partner, is the Iprinto Honeycomb Board in Polypropylene, which is notably 100% PVC-free.

Challenges with previous products

The primary challenge with previously used materials was their lack of durability. Repeated exposure to operational stresses led to frequent replacements and increased costs. Additionally, these materials were less sustainable, contributing to environmental concerns.

Features of Iprinto honeycomb board

The Iprinto Honeycomb Board offers a myriad of features that make it an ideal solution:

  • Lightweight and Durable: The board is easy to handle and install, yet robust enough to withstand significant wear and tear.
  • Rigid and Flat: It provides bi-directional strength, ensuring stability and uniformity in applications.
  • Versatile Printing Surface: Available in both matte and smooth finishes, it supports a variety of printing options.
  • FDA Compliant: Meets food safety requirements, expanding its usability in diverse sectors.
  • Available in FR Grade: Offers fire-resistant options for enhanced safety.
  • Resistant Properties: Water, rot, rust, chemical, solvent, and oil resistance make it exceptionally enduring.
  • Impact and Scratch Resistant: Its toughness reduces the likelihood of damage during use.
  • Less Brittle: Compared to PVC foam, it exhibits greater flexibility and resilience.

Sustainability and usability

The switch to Iprinto Honeycomb Board has significantly bolstered sustainability efforts. Its 100% PVC-free composition reduces environmental impact. Moreover, its durability means fewer replacements, leading to less waste and lower resource consumption.
