Lovell worked in partnership with West Lothian Council to redevelop the site of a former primary school in the sought-after area of Broxburn, to create 18 purpose-built, affordable flats for older people.

The council needed a scheme that would allow individuals and couples to live as independently as possible, by combining the services of housing and social work professionals in a planned and streamlined way.

Developed through a close partnership between Lovell and West Lothian Council, the Broxburn development has regenerated this piece of land with much-needed high-quality affordable homes for older local people. It looks fantastic and has made a genuine difference to the people in the area. We’re all delighted to see the development’s success recognised by Homes for Scotland”.
