In a move to further strengthen the business’ strategic growth plans, Lovell has announced the appointment of Ashley Kensington as National Land Director.

Taking on a newly created role, Ashley will be responsible for new land development opportunities across the UK, supporting colleagues throughout all the de-centralised Lovell regions to source, acquire and secure planning on sites suitable for partnership and open market housing schemes.

A highly experienced Land Director, Ashley has worked in the industry for over 24 years and joins Lovell from Berkeley Group Plc where she was Managing Director for Berkeley St Joseph which operates throughout London, West Midlands and Oxfordshire.

Speaking of her new appointment, Ashley said: “I’m delighted to be joining Lovell and am really looking forward to being part of the business at such an exciting time. The current market presents a wealth of growth opportunities and I am eager to support the business to expand its delivery of innovative regeneration and residential projects.”

Steve Coleby, Managing Director, Lovell said: “We are thrilled to have Ashley on board. As our business continues to evolve, we have recognised the business’ need for a central expert and experienced land professional to oversee our strategic acquisitions from a national point of view and to support our planning objectives.

Ashley is the ideal candidate for the role. She has a wealth of experience when it comes to the delivery of large, mixed use, regeneration schemes and traditional housing developments and has the complex skills required to ensure we can continue to deliver quality partnership and open housing developments. An accomplished strategist, Ashley also has a proven track record in the provision of developments that have a positive impact on local communities, a core objective of our operations at Lovell.”
