Donated and installed in conjunction with UK Fencing and Landscaping, the fence is roughly one metre high and stretches 10 metres along the park, and has improved the park’s security, helping local children to stay safe.
Elmhurst Park plays a central role in the community of Hutton, with many families and their children and grandchildren spending time there. With this in mind, Lovell decided to give something back to the community and use the park as a focal point for some of its community work.
Councillor Ben Groom of Hutton Parish Council, who worked with Lovell to install the fence, said: “Following consultation and site visits with members of the Lovell team, the new fence was successfully installed, helping to protect park users whilst enhancing the park’s appearance and access. This has formed part of the Parish Council’s overall park refurbishment project.”
