10 members of the Lovell team in East Anglia completed a 50-mile ‘cycle swarm’ cycling challenge on  Sunday 30th June 2024 to raise funds for Norwich City Community Sports Foundation, managing to reach an impressive total of £2,215.

Competing among the participants from Lovell were the regional managing director, operations manager, site managers, contracts managers, a technical co-ordinator, and a Quantity Surveyor. The race started and finished at Carrow Road Stadium, the home of Norwich City Football Club.

Michael Saunders, operations manager at Lovell, said: “Following our successful charity cycle from King’s Lynn to Norwich last year where we raised £3,375 for four wonderful charities, we wanted to raise money for CSF and challenge the team! The charity does fantastic work in our community and is one we’ve supported for many years. We want to say a big thank you to everyone who supported us and are grateful that we still have money coming in from supporters.”

The Norwich City Community Sports Foundation is the official charity partner of Norwich City Football Club. Its charitable objectives are driving inclusion for people with disabilities, boosting mental health and wellbeing, and supporting disadvantaged people to raise their aspirations.
