On Tuesday 22nd October 2024, Lovell attended a ‘Futures Event’ at Springwood High School.

This event was aimed specifically at 14-18-year-old students who are making important decisions about their post-16 and post-18 education and career choices with workshops, a careers fair and local businesses attending.

The event encourages students to connect with local employers and training providers and investigate key career sectors in Norfolk, and offers students valuable insights into local work experience opportunities and pathways, such as degree and higher-level apprenticeships, university degrees, and diplomas.

Michael Saunders, operations manager at Lovell, said: “We are looking forward to attending the Futures Event at Springwood and telling students about construction as a career and all the routes and opportunities available, and we will be in the STEM section at the event. This year we have already been at the school to do assemblies and welcomed some of the students of Springwood on a tour of our Florence Fields development.”

Florence Fields is a new development by Lovell featuring two, three, and four-bedroom homes available for purchase, created in partnership with the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, with homes now available to reserve

Springwood High School provides education for students aged 11 to 18 in King’s Lynn.
