Lovell and Repton Property Developments celebrated a key milestone at a completion ceremony in Acle, at their award-winning St Edmund’s Park development, on Tuesday 24th June 2025.

St Edmund’s Park in Acle is the first development completed under the partnership between Lovell and Repton Property Developments, consisting of 137 new homes including 69 on the open market and 68 affordable rent and shared ownership properties which are managed by Clarion Housing.

Work started on the site in August 2020 and all new homes were occupied in 2024. The event on 24th June was held to celebrate the completion of the development, and the success achieved throughout the duration of the project. St Edmund’s Park is an award-winning development recognised for its commitment to community engagement and educational partnership with The Wensum Trust.  The partnership with The Wensum Trust has inspired many local students through career events, site tours, and sponsored apprenticeships.

During the celebratory event, a local resident reached out to say how much they enjoyed living at St Edmund’s Park and what a fantastic new home they had.

Councillor Jane James, cabinet member at Norfolk County Council and Repton Board member said: “We’re incredibly proud to celebrate the completion of St Edmund’s Park, our largest development to date and the first delivered through our valued partnership with Lovell. This project exemplifies our commitment to delivering high-quality homes that are both affordable and sustainable, while also generating a meaningful return for Norfolk County Council. It’s a fantastic example of how public-private collaboration can create thriving communities and lasting value.”

Simon Medler, Managing Director for Lovell, said: “The finalisation of St Edmund’s Park is a proud milestone for Lovell. This development reflects what strong partnerships can achieve, not just high-quality homes, but real opportunities for people in the community. Collaborating with Repton, Clarion Housing and The Wensum Trust has made it all the more rewarding, from creating valuable apprenticeships to supporting wellbeing on site. It’s wonderful to see these homes lived in and appreciated.”

Lovell and Repton Property Developments are currently working in partnership at Bowlers Green in Hopton on Sea, with over 80% of new homes sold and completion expected in 2026.
