Simon Medler promoted to Operations and Customer Experience Director for Compendium Living with immediate effect and Managing Director from 31 March
Simon Medler has taken on a new national position as Operations and Customer Experience Director, with immediate effect, and Managing Director of Compendium Living from 31 March. His appointment follows almost nineteen years leading the East Anglia region, during which he has played a central role in shaping successful joint venture partnerships and building strong relationships with local authorities, partners and communities. His new responsibilities will see him guide operational performance and customer experience across the wider business while taking on the leadership of Lovell’s longest running joint venture.
Following Simon’s move, Matthew Goakes has been promoted to Regional Managing Director for East Anglia. Matthew joined Lovell in 2014 as Commercial Manager and progressed to Commercial Director before becoming Area Director in 2022 with responsibility for a Suffolk joint venture known as Edmundham Developments. His eleven years with the business have seen him contribute to the region’s growth and to the delivery of major partnership schemes that have helped define Lovell’s presence across East Anglia.
Matthew will now lead the regional team and continue the joint venture legacy that has been a hallmark of Simon’s leadership.
Simon Medler said: “I feel very fortunate to have spent so many years working with talented colleagues and committed partners across East Anglia. The joint venture and partnership programmes we have delivered together have shaped my career and have shown what can be achieved through strong relationships and shared ambition. I look forward to supporting our regional teams in my new role and guiding the Compendium JV as it moves into its next phase.”
