Ashely Kensington is the National Land Director for Lovell Strategic Land.

Ashley is a chartered surveyor with over 25 years experience working for developers. Prior to joining Lovell, Ashley was at Berkeley Group Plc managing a number of companies and involved in land acquisition and planning in London, Midlands and the South East.

Ashley has a wealth of experience in large mixed use schemes with a focus on unlocking developments and delivering challenging planning consents.

Chris Collins is Regional Land Director for Lovell in Scotland. 

Chris has over 20 years’ experience in Planning and Development and is responsible for securing new land opportunities in Scotland.

He is both a Chartered Town Planner and Chartered Surveyor and has held previous roles in the public sector, renewable energy, and retail development sectors.

Phil Jones is Head of Land and Partnerships for Lovell in the North East.

Phil is responsible for securing residential land opportunities for both open market sale and contracting to support the development programmes of partners and clients.

Phil has over 25 years’ experience in both the public and private sector, in which Partnerships and collaborations have been a constant throughout, and as such he is able to explore the development and implementation of strategic partnerships and JV proposals.

Christ Smith is Land and Partnerships Director for Lovell in the Eastern region.

Chris is responsible for securing residential, land led and contracting opportunities to continue the growth of Open Market sales, PRS and affordable housing developments.

Chris has over 30 years experience in the land and housing sector, including working for Harron Homes, Miller Homes, LNT Care and Berkeley Deveer.

Nicola Colley is Head of Land for Lovell in the Midlands.

Nicola is responsible for securing residential land led opportunities for open market sale across the Midlands.

Nicola has over 20 years’ experience in the land and housebuilding sector, including working for Taylor Wimpey and Miller Homes and returning to Lovell after 10 years.

Lewis Charity is the Land and Technical Director for Lovell in the East Midlands.

Lewis is responsible for land, pre-construction, planning, design and engineering disciplines within the region. With over 22 years’ experience within the housebuilding industry working primarily on partnership lead projects across the Midlands, Lewis is well placed to spearhead the ongoing growth of the East Midlands region working closely alongside Beth Bundonis (Regional Managing Director).

Ian Reilly is Land and Planning Director for Lovell in East Anglia.

Ian has over 20 years’ experience in planning and development and is responsible for securing  new land and development opportunities for Lovell across East Anglia.

Ian’s previous work includes Group Head of Planning at Allison Homes, Director of Planning at Lanpro, and various Local Authority roles throughout the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

Richard Williams is the Land Manager for Lovell in the West.

Richard’s primary focus is in the West where he is responsible for identifying and acquiring housing development sites capable of delivering in excess of 50 new homes.

He is a Chartered Surveyor (RICS) with over 20 years’ experience, having previously held roles at one of the West’s leading firms of surveyors and as Land Manager for a specialist retirement housing developer.

Mark Harris is the Land Manager for Lovell in Wales.

Mark is responsible for finding land opportunities with the potential to accommodate future housing developments across the region.

He has over 30 years’ experience in the land and development sector, including work for housing associations, PLC housebuilders and for his own private consultancy business. 

Leanne Smith is the Regional Director for Lovell in the South, with strategic oversight support from Mick Laws (RMD London).

Leanne is leading the growth of the newly formed Southern region from offices based in Farnham, Surrey.

As Director for the West Sussex County Council Joint Venture Partnership, she is responsible for bringing forward significant strategic sites for residential and mixed-use delivery.

Passionate about Partnership delivery, Leanne provides strategic leadership to the southern team, building a local brand and reputation as a trusted, and innovative development and contracting partner, to the region’s broad range of clients.
