Home to Recycled

Lovell have used recycled materials in many products, from furniture with legs created from recycled materials from the motor car industry, along with triple glazed windows that can be recycled up to ten times, these elements have been thoughtfully chosen to weave together a tapestry of recycled materials.

Building a beautiful and welcoming new home doesn’t mean everything inside it needs to be made from brand new materials.

Triple-Glazed Windows

The Eurocell Future Homes ready Modus window system installed into the Tomorrow Home will allow Lovell to exceed the anticipated requirements of the Future Homes Standard for 2025.

The Modus windows system are made with an average 50% post-consumer recycled PVC-U and achieve outstanding thermal efficiency, with U-values as low as 0.8 (lower U-values achievable with Krypton gas).

The triple-glazed windows, which use Pilkington glazing specification, means homeowners will use less energy and carbon emissions which may result in lower bills, as well as increased levels of security through internal beading which is tested to the highest standards and BBA certified.

By using triple-glazed windows in the Tomorrow Home, it improves heat retention reducing the need for space heating. By default, of its construction triple glazed units also have a lower g-value which limits solar gain. This can be a useful tool for providing mitigation from Part O overheating.
