Lovell has joined forces with social housing provider Acis to secure a £16 million development of 100 new family homes at Chestnut Drive, Louth. Under the terms of the deal, in addition to taking the affordable homes, Acis is also an equal investment partner in the 70 open market dwellings.

The Partnership scheme will deliver a wide range of house styles in an established residential area about a mile from the Lincolnshire town’s historic centre.

Situated around 15 miles south of Grimsby and just east of the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Tennyson Fields will incorporate a large amount of green space, including a large tree-lined public open space to the north. Traditional in style, homes have been designed to blend in with nearby properties while the extensive choice of house types ensures that the needs of a wide range of residents are catered for.

Seventy 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes, including semi-detached and detached home styles, will be available for private sale from Lovell while there will also be thirty affordable homes, including 1 bedroom apartments and 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes available through Acis, for rent and discounted sale.

Construction commenced in summer 2019, with the sales centre opening late 2019. The scheme is due to complete mid-2022.
