“Woolwich is currently undergoing massive regeneration at the moment, to provide new homes, infrastructure as well as town centre improvements. This development sits right at the heart of Woolwich and I am doubly delighted that so many local people are being employed here on the site – a project with longevity and the local community at its heart.”
Councillor Denise Hyland, Leader of the Royal Borough of Greenwich
We created a small garden in an area of Trinity Walk to be used by the Brookhill Childrens Nursery.

Alongside our partners and the local community, we are helping to turn three former council estates into a vibrant community of 1,600 homes, built on a 12-hectare area of land over a 10-year period, following the demolition of 1,064 homes. Social mobility, economic growth and social wellbeing are at the heart of the work, which will see a combination of open market sale and affordable homes.
Our vision is to create a high-quality development with a strong sense of place, where people choose to live. Our approach enhances existing connections to local communities, shared facilities, health facilities, transport links and other infrastructure.
To ensure homes are affordable for local people, almost all properties are available with London Help to Buy. Homes were initially marketed only to people within the SE18 postcode, to give local people the first chance to buy at Trinity Walk, before gradually expanding our reach.
The regeneration scheme is helping provide major job and training opportunities locally and 45% of labour has come from within SE postcodes. We worked with the Royal Borough of Greenwich to develop an extensive employment and skills plan, designed to improve the economic position of residents within Woolwich and the wider borough. This will see up to 90 apprenticeships being created over the project and 177 years of training for local people.
As part of our commitment to establishing lasting benefits for local neighbourhoods, we have created a £150,000 Community Trust to fund community groups and projects.
Students from St Peter's School in Woolwich were invited to choose the names of the new buildings at Trinity Walk Woolwich.

“This regeneration project is bringing state-of-the-art, energy-efficient homes to the borough while also sparking job creation and economic growth. Through a dedicated programme of investment, partnership working and house-building, we are truly changing the face of this borough for our residents.”
Councillor Danny Thorpe, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Transport - Royal Borough of Greenwich
