Wester Hailes

We were appointed to work with Places for People Scotland on their ongoing regeneration of the site, which aimed to bring new life and 183 much-needed affordable new homes to the area. The Wester Hailes development created 40 townhouses with gardens and 143 flats arranged in four- and six-storey blocks. Forty-seven homes are affordable rent, 62 are mid-market rent and 74 are shared equity sale.

This project has been completed as part of the Army Basing Programme 2020. The JCT Constructing Excellence Main Contract was awarded to Lovell by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation in November 2017.  It was to construct and deliver 917 Service Family Homes at Bulford (225) and Ludgershall (242) by February 2020 and at Larkhill (450) by May 2020.
