The first successful example of public/private housing partnership, Compendium Living is a company created by Riverside HA and Lovell to develop long term regeneration sites. The company is a 50/50 jointly owned entity and has been in existence for over 16 years. The main board is made up of equal representation from Lovell and Riverside.

Since then Lovell has developed further joint companies with companies such as Clarion, Acis, Flagship and Together Housing Group. All these companies offer partnership working which take the best from both parties.

The collaborative approach adopted by Lovell made for a very refreshing sense of all parties genuinely striving to achieve a common goal as a single team. Lovell’s on-site management and organisation was second to none, and this showed in the quality of the finished product. We are looking forward to working with Lovell again in the near future.

Joint Venture Companies are suitable for longer term relationships. They work really well when both parties want to grow together using the best from each company.
